
Bobby Maynard DVR AC3 VTEMT-I
Bobby began with DVR in 1987 as a junior member and gained his ECA certification. He received his EMT-B in April of 1990 when he turned 18, making him the youngest EMT in the state at the time, and received his EMT-Intermediate in 1995. Bobby served on the Board of the Directors for several years, most of those terms as Treasurer and 2 terms as president and also served several years as a Squad Leader. In 1998, Bobby left his job as a Dispatcher for Mt. Snow Ski Area, to fill the then newly created 2nd fulltime employee, the Ambulance Attendant. In this capacity he serves as Supply Officer, Communications Officer, Vehicle Maintenance Officer, Infection Control Officer and Training Officer. He is New England Council for EMS certified Instructor/Coordinator as well as an American Heart Association CPR instructor. Bobby is also a 3rd generation firefighter and a member of the Wilmington Fire Department, currently holding the position of Lieutenant. He also serves as President of the Wilmington Firefighters Association. In his spare time, he works part-time as a Communications Specialist for Southwestern New Hampshire District Fire Mutual Aid in Keene, NH. Bobby is a lifelong resident of Wilmington, where he resides with his wife Jill and Wally the chocolate lab.
